People find contentment

Whether a person's situation is painful or joyful is often subjective.

Some people find contentment in a certain lifestyle, while others do not. Therefore, those who are content with their current situation should continue living that way; those who are not should strive to find another path. You cannot predict where success lies, nor can you guarantee happiness once you reach a certain point. Some people are never satisfied, their happiness based solely on constant pursuit and striving, their goals constantly moving further and further away. Such people may experience little happiness, but their achievements may be great.

Happiness and sorrow are entirely determined by one's own judgment and are not necessarily directly related to objective circumstances. Just as a woman who dislikes jewelry will not be harmed by her self-esteem even in an environment where vanity is highly valued; a poor scholar with thousands of books will not want to exchange them for diamonds or stocks with a millionaire; and those content with a pastoral life will not envy any scholar's honorary titles or high official positions.

Your hobbies are your direction, your interests are your capital, and your temperament is your destiny. Everyone has his or her own ideal paradise and a colorful world that he or she enjoys.
