Frogetful Couple2
An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.
The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, "Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly".
The other man said, "What is the name of the restaurant?"
The first man thought and thought and finally said,
"What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love? You know... the one that's red and has thorns."
"Do you mean a rose?"
"Yes, that's the one," replied the man.
He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled,
"Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?
It would hurt you 它会伤害到你
"Why is it that three of our four children have black hair but little Jim is a blond? Whose child is Jim?"
"I can't tell you the truth," said his wife after a long pause. "it would hurt you too much."
"Oh, don't be ridiculous," he insisted. "I don't mind who the father is. I'm just curious."
The wife ffinally confessed. "Well, if you really want to know, Jim is your child."
"為什麼我們四個孩子中，三個是黑頭髮，而小吉姆卻是金色頭髮?吉姆是誰的孩子?"
“我不能告訴你，”他妻子停了許久才說，“那會傷害你太深。”
“ 哦，別無聊了，”他堅持著，“我不在乎他的父親是誰,只是好奇而已。”
妻子最後承認了。 “好吧，如果你真想知道的話，吉姆是你的孩子。”
