That day, in front of the world presents a crazy colorful gorgeous, people are in color, the streets are in color, and even the Ganges water is colored, everyone hugging each other, dancing and celebrating and shouting: Happy Holi!
During the festival, people will be including dinner guests, the combustion flame and smear color celebration, it is also known color festival (Festival ofColours). One of the most interesting forms of celebration is to smear color, people would hand gun or a similar tool to paint a variety of colors painted on others, represents good luck and blessings.
Color Festival (Holi Festival) represents drab winter has ended, followed by a spring in the spring. That day the locals playing Indian classical music, singing and dancing drunkenly, whether adults and children, all took to the streets, the color powder, point to wipe his forehead to show blessing in each other, more people are directly grabbed powder spraying each other "attacks" , nothing is painted from head to toe, went all the colorful world is incredible, even the air were suspended in colored powder, naughty kids and even blending, add water to the bucket, water polo or water gun "fire" each met person.
Holi is the Hindi "color" means the color festival not only in India, and even Nepal, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Fiji and Mauritius and other Hindu prevalence of the land, are seen as an important festival. Color Festival originated opinions, one of which is derived from Hindu mythology statement. Avatar of the Hindu god of maintenance of "Vishnu" (Vishnu) of "god Krishna" (Krishna) naughty by nature, like the shepherdess sprinkle colored powder, after the Myth of the Millennium, the formation of India's endemic practices . Some also say that because God Krishna dissatisfied with their fair-skinned, dark complexion and his wife, his mother suggested that he would smear color powder wife's face.
Another way of saying, in ancient times, there is a tyrant does not allow the people believe in god Vishnu, but the son was rebelling against him and insisted believe, so he ordered his sister tyrant ── "banshee Huo Lika" (Holika) in a a full moon night burned prince. The next day early in the morning, when people rush to the rescue with a water appliance, they found him safe and sound, but is 霍利卡 been turned into ashes, and this is the result of God Vishnu blessed, so people put the seven colors of the water splashed to the prince to celebrate. Color section in English in "Holi" is the name of the banshee "Holika" evolved, so in celebration, the locals will use grass, wood or paper models of Huo Lika thrown into the fire as burnt.
Tease and have fun is the color of the spirit of the section, if you are a foreigner, the locals will tell you some very "care"! In this festival, whether it is an exaggeration unbridled attack, or quietly from behind the attack, no one will mind, such as the movie "The World is Flat" (Outsourced) color festival scene has appeared. The play, just returned from the United States to India to work the actor, one morning as usual, wearing a white shirt out flat work, I did not expect was the way a lot of "ambush color corps' frenzied attack, a white shirt and instantly become colored shirt. Color Day For Indians, the caste system also does not need too follow, play first, forget the differences of class, but also to forget hatred and alienation.
Happy Holi!http://www.86ty.com/baike/UploadFile/20130409/1365501030680.jpg
