受難日稱美好的周五 ??

今天是耶穌受難日，為要紀念2000年前拿撒勒人耶穌被釘十字架，他為人類的罪死在十字架上。

耶穌受難日也被稱為「聖周五」，接下來就是復活節主日--慶祝基督從死裏復活。

這一天，許多基督教會舉行隆重的禮拜，通常是在傍晚，唱詩、禱告紀念基督的死，並傳講基督為我們受難的信息，並領聖餐作為紀念。

耶穌的死與被釘十字架

根據福音書記載，耶穌被羅馬總督彼拉多定罪。雖然當局稱他是無辜的，但耶穌基督仍被殘酷地鞭打，然後戴上荊棘冠冕，最後死去。

耶穌被鞭打後，被迫背著十字架走到各各他山上的刑場。

耶穌走到各各他後，被釘在十字架上，旁邊還有兩個強盜，這種死刑通常是留給最危險的重犯。

耶穌雖然被釘在十字架上，但他說：「父啊，赦免他們！因為他們所做的他們不曉得。」（路加福音23章34節）

他在仇敵手中忍受痛苦時說了這些話，是要應驗先知的話，他「為罪犯代求」（以賽亞書53章12節）。

基督在十字架上的最後幾個小時，黑暗降臨全地。耶穌死前說了這樣的話，「以利，以利，拉馬撒巴各大尼？」意思是說，「我的神，我的神，你為什麽離棄我？」（馬太福音27章46節）

基督死後，他的身體從十字架上取下來，安放在捐贈的墳墓裏，按照當地的風俗埋葬。


為什麽耶穌受難日「美好」？


發生在耶穌受難日（Good Friday，直譯為「美好的周五」）的十字架事件可怕得難以想像。那麽，為什麽我們稱這一天為「美好的周五」？對基督徒來說，耶穌受難日之所以美好，那是因為透過基督的死，神親自拯救了這個世界，脫離罪惡和死亡，正如聖經中所因應許的（哥林多前書15章3節）。


基督卑微的死亡極為重要，因為沒有耶穌的死，就沒有饒恕和永生的盼望。罪自從墮落以來控制著整個人類，把神和所有人分開，無論是現在還是永恒都是如此。


但是，當基督死在十字架上，他為我們的罪獻上了最後的完全的祭物，親身擔當了我們的罪。正如聖經說：「神使那無罪的替我們成為罪」（哥林多後書5章21節）。耶穌以死扼制了撒旦的命運。正是透過耶穌的死，他「特要借著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼」（希伯來書2章14節）。


今天，那些相信基督的人不用懼怕死亡，因為耶穌打敗了轄制我們的勢力。耶穌對那些跟隨他的人應許了永生，這可以在約翰福音11章25節中找到，「復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人，雖然死了，也必復活。」

根據《聖經》記載：主耶穌和門徒共度逾越節晚餐後，祂在客西馬尼園被補，並帶到大祭司的院子裡。
第二天清早，耶穌被帶到彼拉多和希律面前受審，均判無罪；彼拉多打算責打耶穌後釋放衪。
然而，因著群眾的催逼，彼拉多最終下令把耶穌釘十字架，下午三時耶穌死在十字架上；
日落前（即猶太人安息日開始之前）約瑟把耶穌安葬。因此星期五是受難日。
耶穌死後，第三日復活。（參《路加福音》廿二至廿四章）為紀念耶穌從死裡復活，這就是復活節的由來。


在澳洲和其他國家，受難節被稱為Good Friday。Good泛指「好」的意思，耶穌被釘十字架，
受盡痛楚而死，為何還把這天稱為「好」呢？這方面有幾個說法，
比較多人接納的解釋是，Good在古英文裡有「聖潔（holy或sacred）」的意思，
有些國家稱受難節為Holy Friday。
