I'm back!

Ok, so i'd only had my period about 4 or 5 times, and I was at a pool party... just sitting on the bench, and i got up and saw blood on the bench and thought, EEEWWWW!!! I sat in fish guts!, cos their dad had just been fishing. So i groaned in disgust and dived into the pool.

Then my best friend called out, looking a little bit embarrassed, "Need one of these?" Then she cracked up at her own joke. She was holding a tampon. "Great", I thought... "You're two weeks early!!!" I cursed my body for being irregular and then got out and started laughing. Then i got hysterical, and because i was on my period (well, that's what i'm blaming it on), started crying with embarrassment, while my best friend just pretty much rolled on the floor laughing.

How embarrassing. I'd never used a tampon before, so she tried to talk me through it from outside the toilet door, but in the end, i gave up. Now, a year later, i finally inserted a tampon successfully for the first time yesterday! YYYYAAAAYYYY!!!
