Police in Pakistan have announced that 13 terror suspects were killed in a clash with police in Karachi.
A police official says those killed belonged to the outlawed1 Tehreek-e-Taliban and were disguised as police officers.

"We raided and surrounded the area. We faced resistance from the terrorists and we were involved in an exchange of fire. There were 13 terrorists who were killed. They were in police uniform. We recovered weapons, suicide jackets, ball bearings and other explosives."
One suspect has been arrested.
Pakistani security forces have killed about 200 militants2 in the Khyber tribal3 region bordering Afghanistan in air strikes and ground operations since last week's tragic4 attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar.
Pakistani authorities believe that those who orchestrated the school massacre5 had links to militants based in Khyber.
